POSITION TITLE:              Senior Recreational Gymnastics Coach

REPORTS TO:                    General Manager

ROLE OVERVIEW:

Quality Gymnastics is a well-established private gym dedicated to developing gymnasts of all ages and levels, from recreational to competitive. We are seeking an experienced, qualified Senior Recreational Gymnastics Coach to join our team in beautiful Bermuda. POSITION OVERVIEW:

This full-time, permanent role focuses on the development of our girls’ competitive team, who compete internationally throughout the season. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and safe gymnastics instruction, support recreational programs as needed, and contribute to a positive, inclusive, and motivating environment for athletes of all ages and abilities. Spotting for safety and skill development is required, especially for upper-level skills. The applicant should be able to work in a small dynamic team and independently.

MAJOR FUNCTIONS:

1. Teach all gymnastics classes as assigned including Daycare, Recreational Gymnastics, and Cheerleading classes.
2. Teach all camps and birthday parties as assigned.
3. Evaluate all areas of programming under supervision to ensure program quality and member/participant satisfaction.
4. Remain up to date on current technical gymnastics Cheerleading requirements.
5. Help to ensure the safety and maintenance of activity areas to be utilized by the program.
6. Perform all administrative duties as assigned.
7. Maintain facility.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. College Degree.
2. A proven track record of providing positive experiences as a coach. 
3. This person must also possess the visual and auditory ability to respond in critical incidents and the physical ability to act swiftly in the event of an emergency situation.
4. A minimum of 5 years prior experience as a recreational coach with supervisory and administrative experience. 
5. Experience using social media to promote a gym. 
6. Current Safety Certification in gymnastics. 
7. Must pass all Criminal record checks and screening.
